Our charter fridge is located at Habitat for Humanities in Marysville - 202 D St, Marysville, CA 95901.

Mission
The Madd Love Community Fridge is a grassroots mutual aid project committed to reducing food insecurity, preventing food waste, and building a culture of care. We believe that access to nutritious food is a human right—not a privilege—and we strive to provide free, fresh, and healthy food to anyone who needs it.

Guiding Principles

1. Mutual Aid, Not Charity: This is a community-powered initiative based on solidarity, not saviorism. Everyone is welcome to give and receive.
2. Dignity & Respect: All who use the fridge—whether donating or receiving—are treated with dignity. No one is monitored, questioned, or judged.
3. Accessibility & Inclusion: The fridge is open to all, regardless of income, housing status, or background. No identification, proof of need, or eligibility is required.
4. Food Justice & Sustainability: We aim to reduce food waste by redistributing surplus food and to support a more just and sustainable local food system.
5. Community Stewardship: The fridge is maintained by volunteers and neighbors. We rely on shared responsibility to keep it clean, safe, and well-stocked.

Fridge Use Guidelines

• Take what you need, leave what you can.
• Only donate unopened, unexpired items. No raw meat, alcohol, or home-cooked foods unless authorized.
  Respect the space. Help keep it clean and safe for all users.
• Report issues. Use the contact info provided to notify organizers about maintenance or safety concerns.
